Primitive Accumulations is a series of fictional pieces and philosophical essays on the future of art and nihilism.

I am currently posting, chapter by chapter, a novel about life in the 2010s and early 2020s. Tentatively named The Strands, it follows a young man moving through the worlds of New York, Quebec, New Orleans, D.C., Rome, and Athens, observing people as they pursue the disparate paths offered by our time. While chronicling the emergence of wokeness, Reaction, and grindset, it struggles to discover the forces driving our chaos by connecting them to the protagonist’s increasing obsession with aesthetic taste. You are watching me write the novel in real time, serialized here on Substack.

Meanwhile, my weekly commentaries analyze the news cycle with the concepts of the great philosophers.
